What its all about

This website is dedicated to the expansion of commerce in Oklahoma thanks to the glorious Port of Catoosa located outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The Port of Catoosa is a multi-gated transportation system that allows goods manufactured in Oklahoma to be made available to global markets.  Oklahoma's natural resources provide an easy and economic means to transport goods and be connected to surrounding areas and foreign markets.   By connecting Oklahoma's economic development to LaFeber's book and other related internet sites, we will discuss how the Port of Catoosa ties in with global trade and how this globalism has affected Oklahomans.  Local area businesses greatly benefit from the port by cheap imports and exports.  The port allows the influx of goods from Oklahoma to be expanded into a larger global market and this in turn ties Oklahoma into the worldwide process of globalization.
